2015 Global Audit Committee Survey
To help identify the key challenges and concerns facing audit committees (AC), boards and their companies today, KPMG Audit Committee Institute surveyed some 1,500 audit committee members in more than 36 countries around the world on a range of timely issues, including:
  • audit committee’s workload and agenda
  • risk and information quality
  • oversight of auditors
  • audit committee effectiveness and mechanics.

Among the AC members surveyed, 106 were from ASEAN. The survey identified broad trends and detailed country data on audit committee challenges and concerns in different geographies.

As directors help guide their companies forward in the months ahead, our survey findings can serve as an important reference – for benchmarking current practices, identifying gaps and emerging risks, and sparking fresh conversations about how audit committees and boards are strengthening their oversight and keeping pace in an uncertain and, at times, volatile business environment.
