Signed Trans-Pacific Partnership kicks off further trade liberalisation in the Asia Pacific region
The 12 countries involved in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) have signed the historic trade deal on 5 October.

Initial impressions indicate that under the TPP, countries such as Vietnam will benefit from greater access to developed markets like the US and Japan. At the same time, small and medium-sized enterprises stand to gain greater market access through the special provisions on Competitiveness and Business Facilitation.
